Bader Martin assists some of the region’s most prominent professionals, company executives, business owners, affluent families and family offices, estates, and trusts in managing, preserving and transitioning wealth. We merge traditional financial, tax and wealth planning services with the strategic and advisory services that establish where clients want to go and give them the tools to get them there.
As a tax manager in our high net worth area you will work on a variety of tax returns including individual, estate, trust, corporate and partnership returns for federal, state and local jurisdictions, within a variety of industries. Managers review the work of staff accountants and participate in one on one group training for the tax department. This positions requires a thorough knowledge of tax in a public accounting setting.
Our tax managers also serve as lead providers of proactive tax planning, compliance, review and research services for a diverse group of clients in one or more industries. The tax manager will manage or supervise all phases of client engagements, may have primary client responsibility and, in some cases, may be assigned to manager larger scale projects. He/she may be called upon to deliver presentations and to write articles and to provide leadership, supervision, training and performance feedback to senior and staff level accountants.
Manager level positions generally require a minimum of five years of recent public accounting experience. Excellent organizational, client service and communication skills. A CPA license is required. A Bachelor of Science or Arts in Accounting required, Masters in Taxation or Accountancy preferred.
